About Us

We were established by our founder Herman TyDarius Nash-Johnson. A young African American man from the Northside of Birmingham,Alabama. Herman has always had an eye for fashion since dressing himself for school way back in the 1st grade. He would grow up to never lose that eye but only become more passionate about fashion. He always considered himself stylish and took great pride in his appearance. The year is now 2021 and Herman is experiencing the ebbs and flows of “adulting”. He began to pray for guidance in the form of a career path. Herman awoke one morning with the birth of a new idea. However, like anybody he is hesitant to bring this idea to life due to the uncertainty of what it could be. He seeks council in a close family member who told him to embrace his fear and bring together this idea. Thus, Born Royal is born. We were established as a new “unknown” that came as a dream. Born Royal is not only a clothing line but a reminder to all to pursue the unknown. We are a reminder that you were born of royalty and should never look at yourself as less. We are a symbol of empowerment for everyone to gain the courage to follow your dreams despite the uncertainty. Born Royal is for the fashionable men and women that they can take great pride in.
